WYBOT C2 Vision review: a camera pool robot that hunts dirt, with support caveats
The C2 Vision is WYBOT's camera-equipped cordless pool robot: it uses AI to find the dirtiest patches of the pool floor and clean those first. It's our top pick for most in-ground pools, and its price swings a lot. We haven't used it ourselves; this review draws on WYBOT's specs, Australian prices and two independent hands-on reviews, including Australia's EFTM. Checked 27 October 2026.

Quick answer
A good mid-range robot for pools up to 200 m², if you buy it on sale. It cleans the floor, walls and waterline, has a 10 µm fine filter for sand and dust, and its camera-guided dirt-hunting mode worked as advertised for EFTM (86%) and Basic Tutorials (88/100). The catches: it doesn't climb steps, every mode tends to run until the battery is nearly flat, the app is clunky, and WYBOT's support has no Australian office. On 27 October 2026 WYBOT's own AU store had it at $1,069.99 (RRP $1,699.99), $230 less than Amazon AU's $1,299.99 the day before. Don't pay much over $1,100; at that price the non-camera WYBOT C2 or the Beatbot Sora 10 are better value.
Price and availability in Australia
| Retailer | Price (AUD) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| WYBOT AU store | $1,069.99 sale (RRP $1,699.99) | "2026 Upgrade" version. Checked 27 Oct 2026; the page showed both Add to cart and Notify me, so confirm stock |
| Amazon AU (sold by WYBOT AU) | $1,299.99 | 2026 Upgrade listing, Amazon AU, checked 26 Oct 2026; it was $1,069.99 on 21 Oct |
| Bunnings, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman | Not found | No C2 Vision listings found in searches on 27 Oct 2026 |
WYBOT sells two versions overseas (2025 and "2026 Upgrade"); the Australian store only lists the 2026 Upgrade, and WYBOT doesn't say what changed. EFTM paid $1,069 (RRP $1,699) for its review unit in January 2026, so the sale price comes around often.
Who should buy it, and who should skip it
- Buy it if you have an in-ground or hard-sided above-ground pool up to about 200 m², with dust, sand or algae that a camera-guided robot can target.
- Buy it if you can get it near $1,070; at that price it's the cheapest camera-guided robot we've found from an established brand here.
- Skip it if you need steps or benches cleaned; WYBOT doesn't claim it and testers found it struggles on them.
- Skip it if your pool is bigger than 200 m² or very leafy; see our large-pool and leaf picks.
- Skip it if fast, local after-sales support matters most to you (see Warranty and support).

From WYBOT's Australian product page, checked 27 October 2026. WYBOT's pages are inconsistent on the number of modes ("4 vision modes + 7 modes" and "8 cleaning modes") and its US page also quotes 3,883 GPH. WYBOT doesn't publish the basket size; Basic Tutorials reports 3 L.
Cleaning and navigation: what testers found
Dirt-hunting works. EFTM (Australia, 27 January 2026, 86%) found the camera mode targeted dirty patches as promised. Basic Tutorials (Germany, 15 September 2025, 88/100) found the AI results mixed at first, improving with updates, and rated its floor, wall and waterline cleaning highly.
Runtime is all or nothing. EFTM found every mode ran until the battery was nearly flat, whatever cycle time it set, measuring between 100 and 185 minutes across modes on two units. No single mode covered the whole pool, so you'll rotate modes across the week.
Steps and ladders. EFTM saw it struggle to grip shallow steps, and Basic Tutorials noticed it tends to hug ladders. Best Buy owners in the US also mention it can't climb steps.
Fine debris. Basic Tutorials says the 10 µm filter suits sandy pools, which is useful after windy days or dust storms.
App, maintenance and running costs
The WYBOT app handles schedules, modes and firmware updates, but both testers found it the weakest part: EFTM noted translation glitches and no live monitoring, and Basic Tutorials found it sluggish, with Wi-Fi setup failing when the network name contained a space. Rinse both filter layers after each run. WYBOT AU has a parts and accessories section, but we couldn't find C2 Vision filter prices on it; check before you buy. Like all cordless robots, its battery will eventually wear, and EFTM raised long-term battery life as a concern.
Warranty and support in Australia
WYBOT AU gives the C2 Vision a 24-month warranty with 30-day returns. Under its policy you pay postage to send a unit in for warranty work and WYBOT pays the return shipping. Support is by phone (+61 7 2115 0882) and email, with replies in 1 to 3 business days in peak season; the only address listed is WYBOT's US company in California. CyberShack (November 2025) reported that WYBOT took over Australian sales after poor service from its previous local distributor, and some readers there described slow chat replies and faulty units replaced whole. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply on top of the warranty when you buy from an Australian seller. Keep your receipt and order number.

Where to buy
WYBOT's own AU store had the lowest price on our check date. Amazon AU is sold by WYBOT AU too, and is worth checking if its price drops back to the sale level.
Verdict
The C2 Vision earns its place as our pick for most in-ground pools when it's on sale: the camera mode does what WYBOT says, it cleans walls and the waterline, and the fine filter suits Australian dust and sand. It's not a set-and-forget robot, because no single mode covers the whole pool, it skips steps, and the app is basic. At $1,069.99 it's good value; at $1,299.99 or more, look at the Beatbot Sora 10 for bigger pools or the non-camera WYBOT C2 to save money. We'll update this review if WYBOT opens local service or the price settles.
