WYBOT vs Aiper: which cordless pool robot brand should you buy?
WYBOT and Aiper both sell cordless pool robots direct to Australians, and their ranges line up almost model for model. We compared them at around $800 and around $1,100 to $1,400, using both brands' Australian store prices on 31 October 2026, their warranty and support terms, and what testers and Australian owners report.

Quick answer
WYBOT is the better value at most prices; Aiper has the easier support. Around $800, WYBOT's C2 ($819.99) is rated for bigger pools than Aiper's Scuba S1 ($799.99): 200 m² against 150 m². For camera-guided cleaning, WYBOT's C2 Vision ($1,069.99) has two positive hands-on reviews, including Australia's EFTM, and costs $330 less than Aiper's newer Scuba V3 ($1,399.99), which adds a wireless charging dock and waterline parking. Both brands give two years' warranty on these models. Aiper lists an Australian freecall number; WYBOT has an Australian phone number but no Australian office, and its policy has you pay postage for some warranty claims. Owners of both report battery and charging faults, so keep the receipt and register the warranty.

The C2 Vision is the known quantity: EFTM found its camera mode targeted dirty patches as promised, though every mode tends to run until the battery is nearly flat, it struggles on steps and its app is basic. Full details in our WYBOT C2 Vision review. The Scuba V3 is the more modern design, and its wireless dock addresses the charging-port faults owners report on cordless robots, but we found no independent test yet. Our Aiper vs Beatbot comparison covers it against Beatbot's AquaSense 2.
Higher up the range
WYBOT's S2 ($1,299.99) and S2 Solar with a solar charging dock ($1,999.99) sit above the C2 Vision; Aiper's Scuba S3 ($1,199.99) adds dToF obstacle sensing and Aiper's JetAssist waterline cleaning, and its Scuba V3 Ultra is $3,999.99. We haven't compared these in detail yet. For leafy or very large pools, see our leaf and large-pool picks.

CyberShack reported in November 2025 that WYBOT took over Australian sales after poor service from its previous local distributor. Verdict
WYBOT gives you more rated pool for the money at around $800 and the best-proven camera robot at around $1,070, so it's our pick for most Australian pools. Aiper wins on support, with a freecall line, and its new Scuba V3 is the one to watch if wet charging ports worry you. Whichever you choose, buy on sale, from the brand or an authorised retailer, and register the warranty.
