Roborock Qrevo review (Australia): the Edge 2 Pro and the range

Roborock sells nine Qrevo models in Australia, and the names don't make the differences obvious. We've focused on the most widely stocked, the Qrevo Edge 2 Pro, and laid out the rest of the range so you can see which one fits your floors and budget. Prices checked 1 October 2026.

Quick answer

The Qrevo Edge 2 Pro ($1,499 at Roborock Store ANZ, down from a $2,799 launch RRP) is a strong all-rounder for mixed homes: 25,000 Pa suction, mops that detach before carpet, a chassis that lifts over pile up to 3 cm and a 100 °C mop-washing dock, in a 79.8 mm-tall body. Australian reviewers rate its carpet cleaning and everyday mopping; the weak spots are small or dark obstacles and stubborn sticky stains. On a smaller budget, the Qrevo C Pro ($799) or Qrevo L ($699) give you most of the dock for half the price.

Who should buy it, and who should skip it

  • Buy if you have a mix of hard floors and carpet: it drops its mops at the dock and raises its chassis for rugs.
  • Buy if low furniture matters: the LiDAR turret retracts, leaving a 79.8 mm-tall robot.
  • Skip if your floors are all hard: a roller-mop Qrevo (Curv 2 Flow or Edge 2 Flow) is built for that.
  • Skip if you're on a tight budget: the Qrevo L and C Pro have most of the dock for about half the price.

Cleaning performance: what independent testers found

We haven't tested the Qrevo Edge 2 Pro. Here's what Australian and New Zealand reviewers measured or observed.

  • Strong on carpet. Digital Reviews Network (April 2026) saw it pull deeply embedded paper out of carpet over repeated passes on maximum. WhistleOut (April 2026) measured over 98% pickup of oats, sprinkles and flour.
  • Better mopping than older Qrevos. Craving Tech (March 2026) found the mopping noticeably improved. WhistleOut saw yoghurt and sriracha cleaned, but a nut spread needed three passes.
  • Obstacle avoidance is the weak spot. WhistleOut estimated about 80% detection and saw it miss cables and laces; DRN and Witchdoctor (NZ) both found it struggles with dark objects on dark floors or in low light. WhistleOut also saw the AdaptiLift chassis try to climb shoes and bottles.
  • Thorough but slow. Alex Kidman (Alex Reviews Tech) noted runs of 50 minutes or more and some missed corners.
  • Hair handling. Witchdoctor reported no tangles in three weeks. Vacuum Wars measured 0% tangling on the non-Pro Edge 2.
  • Noise. DRN measured 63 dB in Balanced mode.

App, maintenance and running costs

The Roborock app is one of the most capable around, with 3D maps, room-by-room settings and per-room carpet rules. Qrevo-series accessories at the Roborock Store ANZ on 1 October 2026:

PartPrice (AUD)
Dust bags, 3-pack$39.90
Washable filters, 2-pack$39.90
Side brush$39.99
Rubber main brush$49.90
Floor cleaner, 480 mL$39.90

Roborock lists these for the Qrevo series. Confirm Edge 2 Pro compatibility on the product page before ordering. Roborock's mop cloth listing didn't name the Edge 2 Pro when we checked.

Warranty and support

Roborock gives 24 months on the Qrevo Edge 2 Pro. Australian warranty repairs go through Roborock's service partner, 360 International in Bella Vista NSW, and claims start at [email protected]. Bing Lee sells a three-year repair plan for $145. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply on top.

Privacy and security

The Edge 2 Pro uses Roborock's Reactive AI obstacle recognition. Roborock publishes its security certifications and data practices in its Trust Center. If you'd rather limit data, check which image and remote-view features are switched on in the app.

  • 24-month warranty with a local service partner

Alternatives

Our verdict

At $1,499, the Qrevo Edge 2 Pro is a well-rounded pick for homes that mix hard floors and carpet, thanks to its detaching mops, lifting chassis and hot-wash dock. It isn't the best obstacle-dodger, so tidy cables before a run. If your floors are mostly hard, look at a roller-mop Qrevo; if budget matters most, the Qrevo L or C Pro covers the basics for much less.
